In our office, we firmly believe that the best kind of party is a pizza party. And all our pizza parties are made possible with Yellow Cab delivery.
It has been a year since I started working for this small boutique agency as a copywriter. Being a fairly young company, a lot of things felt like big victories. New accounts, new hires, a successful presentation, the owner’s wife giving birth, our company driver’s birthday— things like these were a cause for celebration.
For us, a celebration always called for Yellow Cab pizza. Personally, I don’t know how the Yellow Cab Pizza party tradition started but I’m not complaining.
Pizza parties with Yellow Cab delivery
My first taste of the pizza party tradition was—you guessed it—my first day at work. Sometime in the afternoon, our boss called us to the pantry for merienda, where we were greeted with the unmistakable aroma of Yellow Cab pizza. I’m not a very sentimental person, but I still remember that scene: boxes of Four Seasons pizza, Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta, and Hot Wings, plus my coworkers welcoming me warmly into the fold.
I would later learn that this is just one of the many pizza parties we would be having. Agency work can be stressful and demanding, but these small celebrations really helped keep our spirits up. Did we win a new account? Call for pizza! Was someone regularized? Yellow Cab delivery! Whatever the celebration, Yellow Cab was there.
Occasionally we’d try something else, but I guess old habits die-hard. We associate Yellow Cab with celebrations so it feels strange to do it any other way.
Do we get tired of Yellow Cab? Definitely not. The Four Seasons is a crowd favorite, but we do like to mix it up every now and then. Plus Yellow Cab introduces new stuff to their menu, so it’s impossible to get bored with the menu.
So thank you, Yellow Cab delivery, for making all our office parties fun and memorable!
